Cowboy Bebop was the peak of anime

Fantasy with a very solid magic system, well written characters and honestly a very different world to your usual high fantasy. It also connects to some of the other worlds he has written. (and it's not romantasy thank fuck)

Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive is my current favorite thing. After finally getting through the first book, I've read 400 pages of the second one in two days.
