The “medium is the message”. The format of the message - print, radio, tv, impacts how it is received. I think your point about editorial bias in those publications is super important though. They’re pandering to a government that’s openly hostile toward our sovereignty.

I was also on mat leave with my colicky early October baby. It was a long, sleepless, stormy winter. Fortunately, I had a couple of neighbours who were also on Mat leave so we weren’t entirely on our own but it was still tough to trudge through all that snow with a wee little human.

Something similar happened to a high school friend during our first year of university. She successfully used an older dorm-mate’s ID in Halifax but when she tried to use it in Moncton, the bouncer shut her down. Turns out, the ID belonged to his little sister’s life-long best friend. Ooops.
