It holds inside a small venue but I met some nice people over there, where I'm so glad to see people from other countries flying to attend this wonderful event (and all those homosexual, bi/pansexual, aro/ace, trans & enby people are truly awesome 👍)

That's why I decided to become a hobbyist instead of selling artworks for my living (Though I studied science in university). I have no idea on running businesses and it would be too stressful for me to brainstorm new ideas and draw tons of stuff in a short period of time.

Not to mention those generative a/i/ slops that flood the internet over the whole world which makes us much harder to find merches created by human artists and those graphic designers working in companies being replaced by a/i/

They'd prefer short-lived trends (like silly memes), fanarts or even inappropriate ship art...which is harmful for us loving something niche (and making us harder to find art pieces that we truly appreciate)

Instagram's algorithm terribly discouraging artisits to promote themselves with only image-based posts, and, young people nowadays don't appreciate niche art such as traditional art, nature art, kidlit art, science art, etc (but those are my favourite).

That's right. Those artists who only rely on selling artworks on Instagram don't have any choices but to become influencers (that is a completely different job targeting on another group of audiences) instead of focusing on drawing just for their living.

They think that all afab individuals must act gentle and weak where sometimes I am being scold by my mum because of being too bold or rude...I cannot withstand this at all

Right here everyone is workaholic where overtime is compulsory for most jobs; strict parenting & harsh education make academic performance determinates our future; and most importantly, no one is gonna fuck those conservative values because everyone must be obedient to ppl older than ourselves

Immigration is really, REALLY one of my biggest goal for my life to escape gender roles and old school values
