Another headache tonight so I went simple for #inktober ´s lesson and #chatonktober ´s statue.
Still cool to exercise on something simple, basic shapes, especially as I’m still a complete newby, just starting drawing.

Ok here me out: I really love that one.
I feel very proud.
#inktober ´s skeletal and #chatonktober ´s lighthouse gave me a great idea and I’m really satisfied with the result. It’s not perfect obviously and there was several part I didn’t know how to tackle like the width of the wall or the rocks.

Ok here me out: I really love that one.
I feel very proud.

Here is my Rowdy ( #inktober) Chest ( #chatonktober).
I took inspiration from Terry Pratchet’s first book, The 8th Color. One of the character has a big living chest with hundreds of feet, a tongue and tones of teeth.
It is a very loyal one.

I tried to reproduce a cloud I saw on google image. I liked the technique used for the volumes and shading but didn’t keep enough control on it.

Here is my ornate sea shell for #inktober / #chatonktober 17.
Couldn’t do it yesterday.

For today’s #inktober (blunder) and #chatonktober (dusk), I tried to not use any single line. I held my pencil on the side, almost full flat, and to only use shades to get the shapes of this bunny and cat.
It was an interesting experiment!

Ok so I tried something different for this 14th #inktober / #chatonktober.
Had trunk and amphora.
So I tried to make an amphora inside a tree trunk (with a little (barely visible) cat engraved on it).
I wanted to use as few linings as possible and work on the shadow to get the volumes. Kinda hard.

Sooooo… I didn’t have a choice.
I tried some stuff with colors like the black outline with a papermate pen (a bit thin), the red cloak using alcool marker and the white being an acrylic like for blackboard haha.
I’m quite happy with that one. :)
