This morning we did one last dog family photo. Miss Pixie is in the middle. This morning, she had a bowl of her favorite food--boiled chicken and rice. I also gave her one of every single dog treat in the house. In an hour I bring my rattle and we all head over to the vet's office. Hardest day today

Pixie had her head out the window as we drove her around the neighborhood so she could see the Christmas lights. She was relaxed and enjoyed seeing all the decorations and lights.

Pixie enjoyed her McDonald's plain cheeseburger for dinner. We cut it into tiny pieces for her so she could eat them easily.

Pixie went on her final dog walk today in her dog stroller. She enjoyed the fresh air and the sunshine. She even brought along her little blue dog toy.

We are completing her bucket list today.
We will go on a drive around town so Pixie can hang her head out the window.
We are getting her a McDonald's cheeseburger (plain).
Later a final dog walk, and tonight I will drum with her.

Hello Friends! Since graduating, I've been busy working as a certified hypnotherapist & haven't been on social media as much. I am creating a new website & new classes for my clients, and oh yeah, I adopted a new family member. His name is Ruffles and he is the sweetest dog I've ever had. Love him.

I've worked towards this goal for a year & a half, including recovering from serious health issues halfway through the program.

Recently had the opportunity to take 20 and their partner to the Snoopy Museum in Santa Rosa. It was a wonderful visit. The museum has changed over the decades and was lovely to see all the new exhibits.

I recently found an antique deck of tarot cards in Like New condition that I am really enjoying.
The deck is called Motherpeace & dates from 1981.
Each card is circular, not rectangular, and features "positive, nurturing, peace-oriented values" featuring feminist art work of women.

19 & I were in the living room w/ the pets when we heard a ruckus in the backyard. We ran to the window & saw a young red-shouldered #hawk w/ a small lizard in its talons resting on our fence, looking straight at us.

We've had Colette, our #rescue #kitten, for over two months now & she seems to have settled in nicely.
The first couple of weeks we had her, she was incredibly frightened and hid under furniture 24 hours a day.
Now, she freely roams the house & is befriending the other dogs and #cat in the family.

Been a month, but we finally have a name.
Our six-month-old rescue kitten's name is Colette.
19 initially wrote all the name choices on slips of paper, threw them on the floor & had kitten choose her own name.
The cat chose the name Fart.
As the mom, I overruled & made final decision for Colette

Day Seven: SUCCESS! Kitten is no longer hiding all day & has accepted the family. She purrs every waking moment, sounding just like a hummingbird's wings, but doesn't like to cuddle. She plays with all her toys, especially the ones with feathers & ribbons. Now to pick a name.
