....I decided to do a little TT as a wind down and it ended up winding me up.

I ate this book up; it was so challenging because how much I conflict morally with the protagonist (I struggle with anything that makes me cringe and Juniper makes me CRINGE). A satire on white privilege and the expectation of authors to write is outside of their own experience.

Finished ‘The Kamogawa Food Detectives’ and it’s such a cozy, sweet little book. Low stakes little vignettes of a father-daughter pair who run a hard-to-find restaurant that will find the recipe from your past you are looking for (and the story you were missing behind it all).

I normally don’t pick up cheap t-shirts (except from thrift) but 5 Below had these two and I whipped out my wallet too fast
