Can I find stupid fun ways to win my games? MTG yes and if you somehow pull an impossible feat off in game you will be respected. YGH, its only fun for 1 person and thats it. Everyone will hate you

Do i need to build my deck a very hyper specific way in order for it to run how it should all the time? MTG you have wiggle room. YGH hell no, and the community will get on you about it.

I have a zebruu commander deck(mtg) has about 4 or 5 different ways to win in it. Will I play it on first meeting a new player or a kid? No, will grab a weaker one. YGH players will waffle stomp a kid showing up with his grandfather's deck just looking to have a good time and make friends. Fuck YGH

Now, are there some cards that take for ever to get the hammer in MTG for being too strong? Yes, looking at you ViVi. But thats another thing, WOTC will actually look at what's over preforming and see what they can do to fix it either within current or next rotation. Konami, ehhhhhhh maybe

Thats why I prefer MTG, minus the cash grab it is now, over yugiho. You can still do that shit but with a little extra work certain card. And even then those cards have a weakness. YuGiOh, oh boss monster is out with the combo that works with it? Shuffle up for the next game i guess gg

From my understanding of modern yugioh, you either watch someone go though half their deck and perform 100 different special summons only to be all negated by a quick play card or you watch someone do that very same but cant negate it because you bricked your hand.
