February 14th is St. Valentine's feast day (and execution date in 269)! He is the patron saint of courtly love (like the medieval idolization of chivalry), Terni (the Italian city of which he was bishop), epilepsy, and beekeepers. His skull is on display in Rome. He was able to cure blindness.
