I've been playing Slime Rancher 2 for a good 10 hours now and it's as good as the original. Tell me why though that I STILL cannot just check Plort market prices through a menu? Having to run back and forth from the market screen to my slime pens is the most unnecessarily annoying part of this game.

This past week, I got to fulfill one of my bucket list items and got to attend a Distant Worlds Final Fantasy concert 🥹 I went with my girlfriend, who is also a huge Final Fantasy nerd, and we each had our moments tearing up and fist pumping to our own personal favorites. Top 10 date ideas for sure.

I miss going to my LGS and playing Commander with randos. One friend in my pod now only joins as an obligation after quitting for Riftbound and another has discovered how to proxy CEDH decks versus my experimental fun decks.

I've been doing a lot of Pilgrim's Traverse in #FFXIV and I've been loving it a lot and I think the reason why that is more so than Variant Dungeons is that this is a piece of content that actually does away with the 2 pull -> boss formula and offers a more diverse palette of challenge to each run.

Expedition 33 is the only game I've played where I'm actually disappointed it didn't have a photo mode.

I think a trope that's gone underutilized is a character receiving aid for a disability they didn't know they had or couldn't resolve themselves. I find it very heartwarming seeing someone's horizons broaden like that.

I feel like I'm at a stage in unemployment where I just always feel restless. I can never feel satisfied in what I'm doing because it always feels like a waste of time whether that be applying to new things or trying to learn new stuff that I can apply to my portfolio projects. It never feels enough

I removed Twitter from my phone a few days ago as it was the most used app on my phone that I never felt good about using after. Hard to notice any actual positive effects but my day does feel a bit lopsided or being able to check it as frequently.

Honestly, I kinda get why Bluesky is doing something about NSFW content. Something about its algorithm can be so unwieldy that I can have all the necessary tags and accounts blocked and yet once every 2 weeks or so I am assaulted by the nastiest hole on the web.
