The sense of going around in circles with the UK makes you wonder if a crisis wouldn’t be the worse thing to just knock things. Some of the post 2008 bailout countries really turned around structural problems, through great pain, in their processes.

Someone once described polls a year into a government as like thinking about a colleague at work you fancy. But when push comes to shove, you wouldn’t ruin your marriage for them. Sums up polls vs results in GEs to me.

Have been making my way through their range. The Pearse Lyon’s Brown Bear IPA and Double IPA - both sold at MUP pricing, so €1.99 and €2.9something - are amazingly drinkable. Great stuff
