Yes my friend in college grew up in that religion too and it is very difficult to leave because they force your family and friends who are still part of it to shun you. My friend was part of it because of her grandma who raised her...then when she left it, she lost her grandma from her life too.

Mood. But i dont think we will die in 3 years at least and once the cult leader is gone a lot of the cult will die. People dont worship JD.

In Europe, it seems to me like the gov will pay for your basic human needs and then the companies will be like "well you have all those met so we will pay you enough to otherwise survive but not much else." It also isn't great and it doesn't fix the underlying problem that the CEOs hoard everything

The money and power is still largely removed from the communities, and the average person is too poor to have kids even if they want to or able to pursue their actual dreams and live up to their full potential. The real solution is an economy that is doing well and pays people fairly.
