What a terrible mess of ads and nonsense that pop up when viewing that link. You should maybe fix that.

to create them at 300 DPI and a larger size, then convert them to 72 DPI and whatever your deliverable size is.

All of that applies to bitmap (raster) images.

If you’re using a vector program to create them, then you can easily scale them up or down and change the resolution as needed.

image size you can post on those sites is. If it’s on someone else’s site, they should have dimensions to use. The reason there is no standard is because there is no one place (as far as I know) that webcomics are typically posted.

Now, if you someday plan on printing those comics, you might want

You are creating for the web. You are working with a DPI of 72 (because screens). The only thing to consider is what your target publishing platform is. If it’s your own website, then it’s whatever is typically used for the width of a website. If it’s social media, you need to check what the largest

The resolution of video screens is 72 DPI. (This doesn’t matter except by comparison to print) Print resolution is whatever you tell the printer to do, but typically for clarity and quality, it’s 300 DPI. This doesn’t matter for a web comic, unless you want to print it.

On to your issue…

I can’t give any advice on what the correct size is. I am not a digital artist or a print or web designer (though I have been all those things in the past). I am a video editor and motion graphics designer. That said, we need to talk about DPI and how that relates to size and monitors or screens.

You can always create them larger and scale them down. It’s better than trying to scale them up unless you’re using a vector based program to create the art.

As someone who lives in one of the hotter climates in the US, I’d rather it be cold. I can only take off so many clothes to stay cool. At some point, I’m sitting around naked and sweating.

Yeah, they claimed it was his first for marketing purposes after he started getting some fame in later roles. They even changed movie posters to feature him, though his role wasn’t a primary character.
