WPTX on 1690 KHz. 300 miles away. Getting another AM BCB station in there too, but not well enough to ID. Happens when you use a longwire and not something directional.

#swl #sigint #Shortwave station WBCQ 7490 KHz. on a VHF/UHF J-Pole antenna. Not optimal, but will work ok for the stronger stations until you get a better antenna. AR3000 does have an internal HF preamp for use with shorter antennas. Turned off because normally hooked up to a longwire.
