I was recently lucky enough to be invited to the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show and took the opportunity to do some proper live sketching.
Sketching moving objects is a great exercise, (though I was happy when the horses stood still for a moment)
10-15 second sketches.

I am fascinated with hummingbirds, they appear to be suspended in mid-air, seeming motionless, while a whirlwind of wings blurs around it, creating a dance of color and motion - hummingbird in flight, nature's aerial artistry.
