Digital Foundry framed it in a way that made sense to me, they said a new Xbox would compete with prebuilt gaming PCs and not traditional consoles. That sounds appealing actually, considering how whack a lotta pre builts can be. I think this can still be a compelling product.

Actually no! Not many at all. I always use this site called Does It Play to look up which ps5 games are on disc fully, and it's definitely the vast majority of em. I'm pretty pleasantly surprised by how pro physical media Sony has been this generation.

Man ps5 is lookin pretty cool to physically collect for at this point. Gonna be makin a lot less third party purchases on Switch 2 than I expected.
