all I'm saying is, maybe if there were other games even half as worth playing as all the games that have ever won awards (and honestly even some who haven't), maybe there would be some actual competition instead of sweeps every year. don't hate the player, hate the game y'all

telling other people how to make a game because it squeezes the most money out of it. meanwhile the people actually working on the game get pad pennies and are traumatized on the daily. we're tired of the most needlessly hollow and braindead dlc being pushed on us to make a quick buck

I don't wanna play your comically recycled military recruitment fps. sure, I enjoyed black ops and modern warfare... back in like 2010. people are tired of overworked and frankly lukewarm games coming out 10 years after the first trailer. we're tired of some stupid higher up who gets paid too much-

just make better games and we wouldn't have this problem. indie games are starting to finally garner some competition against AAA ones and big game companies have shat the bed more often in the past 10 years or so than I've ever seen in my life
