Any sane person understands how influential and dangerous Putin is and has been on our elections.

This stunning photo never fails to cause me to pause and think - long and hard about this time in our history for these artists.

We’re in roots music for 40 years and know lots of Black blues & jazz artists.

Much respect & understanding ✌🏽
On Aug. 12, 1958, Art Kane gathered 58 jazz notables in front of a Harlem brownstone for a group portrait.

Only one of its subjects is still alive: the saxophonist Sonny Rollins, 94, who spoke about the historic image.

“Be thankful you don’t need one”

But we still do and wish it weren’t true, but gonna have to substitute women here as well.

Fact is we still need a movement to shine a light on the persistent inequality that still exists every single day for us.
One of my favorite memes. Substitute Black for Gay, or any group for Gay, and it still applies.

Thank you for these images@united24media.comand for keeping this important story in front of us so we can look right into their eyes.

Few US media outlets show us what this war looks like, making it far too easy to look the other way. #unitedforukraine
