What power does she hold now as a private citizen? She holds the same amount of power as you. She has a platform to voice her disagreement but that's it. And she did the entire campaign and the time after. Are you holding the white elected officials to the same standards? Doubt it.

I couldn't look at the people who were currently terrified of deportations and the people I know with families in Gaza that I would take a chance on a candidate that had a low chance of voting when said candidate is pitched against a psychopath with a plan to eradicate them, no.

My comfort has never been a concern otherwise I wouldn't be doing the job that I do. I'm mot sure if you know but humanitarian (former or present) aren't paid a lot.

Is it truly shocking to you that the prospect of US dictatorship was scarier to me given my work and history, than the prospect of a bad administration that I can lawfully denounce and work against?
