Back when 19 was released AI content was not allowed or you didn't have to disclose it (I forget) and it was tucked away in the spell card backgrounds of all the new characters (Except Biten) and Yuuma (who hadn't been in a shmup before)

My source is my eyes that I used to look at them, since ZUN isn’t gonna outright say what images are and are not AI. You can also throw them in AI detectors and while those aren’t flawless, all of them netting “it’s AI” results is telling.

Moriya is safe because they moved their servers to a country where DMCA laws aren’t as effective. That’s how the fames went back up.
