That domestic abuse isn’t just physical, sexual, emotional, financial, & mental…. By definition from the U.S. Department of Justice (www.justice.gov/ovw/domestic...), aside from the other abuses they have enacted on us in previously, the definitions in tech abuse is everything we have suffered from.

We both have been dealing with for years on/off but overall, consistently. Speaking for myself, I’ve been dealing with it now for about 7 years… & only recently did I fully realize, especially watching my partner suffer from it with the dualities from the similarities of our situations…

I even debated posting this bc I’m nervous & don’t like to air out personal life details online… but yall I feel so limited in options & so does my partner. Any suggestions? Bc simply “ignoring” doesn’t work bc they are relentless, & it triggers the PTSD so bad when they attempt to reach us.

& getting a protection order is actually really hard in our state. You also have to directly serve them the fucking paperwork like okay lemme just face my abuser? It’s honestly extremely rare that the court even grants it. There’s also the fear & legit risk of them lashing out worse if we do it.

They just don’t stop too & its like any social media that gets made they find almost instantly or within a months time. We just wanna enjoy ourselves & have our freedoms without fearing the domestic abuse… we take the steps to block, but they make new accounts even or find new ways somehow

I can count on one hand how many games I’ve fully complete despite gaming for over 2 decades now… I don’t get it either xD
