When I worked my summer job at Jones Beach in college, there was a time where someone's mom called wondering why they weren't promoted to a better position. I thought it was pathetic, even at 20.

Just thinking about this in general. Has anyone in American history fallen as far and as quickly as Rudy Giuliani? Yes, he wasn't a great NYC mayor, but was absolutely *beloved* after 9/11 and really did a lot for the city and its people. Now? He's not even a caricature of his former self.
