Lance in his regular state. A little disgruntled and probably uncomfortable in his garb of choice. "This is what people wear, right?" he thinks to himself as the fabric slowly tears as he continues his travels. Lance is usually one to act first and find out later. While it can't be understated how strong he is, he still blunders into harrowing situations. One time he bought a large castle completely unaware of the ghouls and ritualistic practices that were going on below it.

Hat Strife fights SephiRil as AeRinth prays in the background. A friend of mine has been currently streaming the Ps1 version of FF7 with his fiance. He's also streaming a variety of random games for his Summer Roadtrip event. If you feel like it, you can tune in at 7PM EST, Wednesdays through Sundays (currently). It'd be cool to see new faces. HTE, the streamer, is Cloud Strife while his Fiance, Rin, is Aerith. Ril, a chaotic chat member in the community is none other than the big bad, Sephiroth. His menacing cutesy smile can pierce anyone's confidence. Or maybe that's his absurdly long katana. Who's to say?

Doing something different. I usually keep my #WIP, but with #flipnote it doesn't show the entire #artprocess. I use layers to make refinements. Also the light box, but it isn't as useful as it was on the DSi.

Update on the Alpha Team HQ. I'll have to deconstruct parts of it so I can take it apart easier, but I'm going to put the project on hiatus.

I'm also going to upgrade each individual vehicle to modern Lego set standards. Everything's WIP, but it'll get there.

Otherwise, I'll be practicing coding.

So, I need to switch out those black wheels to white on the upgrade when I get the chance. Front view profile of Flex's ATV and its upgrade. Another thing I want to do with these upgraded vehicles is to give them more functionality. In Alpha Team's 3rd wave, every vehicle could transform - known as Alpha mode. Some were cooler than others, but I want to aim to make each vehicle feel substantial. It'll be the last thing I do for all of them as I want to get the look down first, but I'll always keep something in mind. Top view of Flex's ATV and its upgrade. Code name Taurus, the improved ATV is like an unstoppable tank. It has more than twice the hull of the original and cab space. So, if a fellow Alpha Team member needs to be picked up safely, it's the vehicle of choice. From the side, it looks like a bull, so... Kinda Mad Max-y. Once again, I wanted to design something I could take pictures with and I think this just about hits the right mark. The amount of details and depth feels right. I just need to construct it better. It'll require a lot so that's why it's on hiatus. Everything you see here was pushing what I had available to work with. It at least needs a helipad and it should be good.

Gonna try creating a retro-styled #Lego build. Dubbed the Alpha Team HQ, it’ll be able to house their vehicles.

Gonna try keeping it on the small side. It’s got to look sparse, but filled in. I hope I can do the color palette justice.

Going to be tearing this #TF2 CP_Gorge last inspired #Lego down. I wanted something to create scenes with like a #Gmod animation. It kinda fails at being a TF2 build and something to film with. I'll try again later, but right now I want to make something for the Lego Alpha Team line.

Tried going for a mix of styles. The 90's is definitely the main influence, but there's elements of Miami Vice, 80's Neon, and splashes of various japanese album covers like Cassiopea or Tatsuro Yamashita's For You... You'd know the kind of look if you saw it. I don't think the aesthetic came out the way I wanted, but it looks good. I wanted something with thick outlines and that part looks great.

Based off of the first of many Miitopia streams, our heroes first adventures came to an end after saving Jesus's face. The team in question was lead by the hat enthusiast wizard himself, HTE! Following him was the team's spirit, Hatsune Miku, Ril, the traveling priest and lore master, and Pillow (Hey, that's me!), the timid chef and Mario cosplayer. Lore-wise, each image is drawn by Ril as a means to cataloguing the events of everyone's adventures together. What's he up to anyway? A realistic rendition of the original HTE team. Little did we know Ril was a magical girl the whole time. He looks majestic! Miku's hair flows in the wind behind the group almost like she's the glue that holds everyone together. HTE looks up to the sky with a triumphant visage in his righteous quest to save Miitopia. As you can see Pillow's Mario nose is not real, but in the heat of battle sometimes he truly does believe he's the beloved fictional hero. Turns out the realistic interpretations of the HTE party was painted by JC Denton from Deus Ex! Who knew he was so talented? JC is one of the many royal guards of the castle. Meanwhile princess Neko Arc looks towards the viewer with intensity. HTE's friends have been captured! What will happen now that he's powerless and all alone? Will anybody rise to this unexpected occasion? Those are some peculiarly interesting items scattered about, but what do they mean?

Some ice spikes attack #animation I worked on for a game.

I liked the shading and the snappiness of the appearing part in particular when I worked on them. Wish the breaking part relied on coded physics.
