Idk if this helps but as a lesbian once in a while I like a boy and go "Oh maybe I'm bi" but the attraction never lasts and if I pursue it being actually confronted with "be physical with boy" is not the good time I thought it would be in my head

Me too, and sometimes for characterization reasons my characters are really into stuff I don't like, and I think it's fun to try to figure out what people find appealing and make good art even if it's not my vibe :V

Yeah they did, he was smart and took reasonable precautions. The strain is also a good movie for Crichton's views on viruses but I agree w/you about the natural empathy people have for animals
