He scores a lot against the lesser teams so he should get a hat trick in the next 10 mins

I was also team Sesko purely down to age and potential, but I think Gyokeres will score loads of goals for us and do incredibly well due to his ability and desire. We’re a team ready to go and Gyokeres fits that perfectly.

I was disappointed with Havertz, Ramsdale, Trossard etc. but they proved me wrong. (We won’t discuss Sterling). I think he’ll be an asset for us, his stats are good and he has so much potential, have faith!

Fans need to stop getting their knickers in a twist; he’s a solid player with room for development and our recruitment team have far more knowledge about their process than we do. I think he’ll surprise a lot of people.

I feel the same, I was very much hoping for Sesko (age, profile, athleticism) but can see the benefit and potential of Gyo. I’m an optimist now and would love it to work out.

His performance against Man City is worth considering though, as are a lot of his other goals which have shown quality and an ability to be in the right place at the right time. He’s also physical which is needed in the prem.

It’s so easy to get swept up in the narrative that we’re on the decline but the results are impressive and the team are performing, a few more challenges to go but we’re still up there!

I do like it that Villa, City and Spuds have strengthened though - we’ve played them all now but Liverpool haven’t…

They’re unbelievable; the maturity, composure and ability from both are insane.

Referees are following a rule book so their decisions should be based on that with subjectivity removed or supported with VAR. It cannot be described as a ‘stamp’ though, more a trip - where have you seen a red given for this before out of interest?
