Looking forward to presenting this paper today. The organisers are kindly printing out the zine I made to go with my paper because I am presenting it online.

Yesterday was a special day.✨

It’s my first Viva anniversary. My viva was four weeks to the day after my mother died. It’s been a hard year but I’m grateful to many people for many things. I’m grateful for the year. (Photo credit for the central photo taken after my viva:Prof. D.Watt.)

Parliament square is framed by a large trans flag and thousands of people gathered in solidarity with trans people. The rally was organised is response to the Supreme Court’s regressive and hostile ruling on the legal definition of ‘woman’ in the UK.

Heading to spend the day celebrating with a friend who has a wonderful thing to celebrate 🍾 ✨ They are cat sitting for the weekend on a boat! I’m a tad excited about this!! On board 🚂 continuing to read this delicious book. There is no rushing it. I was floored by Interlude. Savouring each essay.
