Today we did a nice thing for a neighbour. It felt so good to be kind & they were so grateful. We were all left feeling a warm glow that lasted all day. These hate-filled people are missing out on so much happiness. It’s really sad.

And how does that compare to long-term retention figures? There have always been plenty of qualified teachers, just not enough of them willing to do the job after 5+ years.

When you’re on the opposite side to the a***holes, you must be doing something right.

I find this concerning when politicians are debating assisted dying. Quality end of life and disability care FIRST, then people have actual clear choice without “not wanting to be a burden”.

Education & schools urgently need profound systemic change but no politician will ever have the bottle to do the right thing. So they’ll keep pushing this line that “discipline” is some sort of cure-all miracle.

Normal people: I notice there has been an increase in representation of minorities on TV. That’s good. About time. (Moves on with their day.)

I once hitchhiked from Strasbourg to Freiburg to visit a friend who had gone away for the weekend. Had to sleep in her doorway before hitching back again. Happy days.

I still feel that the vast majority of British people are not racist but our voices are just not being heard. It’s suddenly acceptable to be an a***hole - and to be given massive media time. How do we get our voice back? I can’t believe what’s happening in the UK right now.

As a 52 yo woman, never in my life have I felt threatened by an asylum seeker or a trans person. White cis men on the other hand - too many incidents to even count.

I would love it if Trump arrived in the UK & everyone just completely ignored him. It would upset him more than any protest.
