1/4 I feel like I’ve already told everyone this, but just for the record:
My family were refugees. My parents fled then-socialist Czechoslovakia in 1968 with two small children (one 3 years old, one 4 months old).

Might be a hot take, but I, for one, don't think you should be hauled off by a team of undercover cops simply for having written an op-ed they didn't like.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.
