Unless the entity is a tax except charitable organization;All donations to an individual count as income.They get categorized as gifts, which are taxed (there a few exceptions like one time family gifts ex) even folks who do medical gofundmes need to organize through a nonproft chatity or get taxed.

Every platform that didn't send you a tax form if you made under $1200 you can consider hobby income and dismiss. Ive helped a few folks with taxes on similar situations, and my brother is tax lawyer.

For filing taxes, you don't have to file until you meet minimum income. Your state and Federal is $15,750. If you didnt make that number you dont have to worry. If you went over that; Every platform where you collected more than $1200 will likely send you a tax document.

100% agree with you there is a big difference with the platforms AI directly doing and posting all the non conseual content you've asked and someone doing it separately. Obviously both very wrong but what the heck is the platform even thinking, if they are.

Thanks cat. Comes down to might be a little more stressful but might also stop working into the evenings which might level out. Going to have to feel it out. But the pay bump is so very nice... probably taking it 🫡
