That’s a really good point. The combination of open code and AI lowers the barrier to reuse and adaptation in a way we haven’t really seen before. It makes openness feel less like ideology and more like a practical advantage.

Feels like that shift has already started. More people are questioning lock-in and how much control they really have over their communities. Open source alternatives are being considered as the best option.
