I hope there are plans in the future to bring the Wicked theater stage onto the screen like Hamilton. I crave that the most. I first watched Wicked when I was in 8th grade and the movie itself helped relive that feeling.

Safe to say he enjoyed it! He said the story picked up towards the end. Again, he's not one for films/music in general, so I consider this a win!

No way I was going to have him miss a "WOAAAAAHHHHH OOHHHHHHH".

It really helped that I know the timing of each part in Wicked well bc even I had to use the restroom at one point. I left right after Popular and came back quick. He had to use the restroom and I think he was a bit hesitant to leave. I told him this was the perfect time to go now.

I told him that he basically had a huge hint in the beginning of the film. He thought for a moment to recall what happened. "Aw dammit, it's Tony Stark dying all over again."

Now I really cannot wait for him to watch Part 2 with me. LOL!

[Wicked Spoiler] I prefaced that the film was going to be Part 1 of the musical so he won't be confused at the end. At the end of the film, he said, "So she just left her there!? Are they gonna Avengers their way back?"

I would also like to add that I watched this with my 🍯. He's not really into musicals (or music for that matter), but he agreed to watch for me. A few minutes into the film, I realized and whispered, "wait, did you ever watch the Wizard of Oz?"

🍯: No, why? Is it the same universe?
