Won’t speak on the first statement but the second is definitely correct. Nuclear disasters are very rare. Only two in history have ever been given the worst INES level of 7 (Chernobyl 1986 and Fukushima 2011).

Major fallacy here: something being old is not a valid argument against it. Cars (ICE and EV) are both 19th century tech. Knives are from the Stone Age. Firearms are 10th century. Rope is prehistoric, going back well over 20k years. All of which are still used today.

Here’s a real fact, humans are omnivores. Here’s another, humans are part of nature. If a human eats an animal, it is because nature wants it to happen. Humans are not special creatures above nature, we are a part of it. Here’s a third, predator animals hunt prey animals.

You don’t have to pay for parking if you just walk. Encourage you zoning board to have more mixed use. That way you can have conscience stores in your neighborhood that are actually convenient to get to.

Businesses in walkable areas do better since impulse shopping is much easier when you don’t have to find parking first. Think for two seconds before commenting.

Stop thinking about the whole project, focus on the smaller steps. Fixing the whole US at once is obviously a near impossible task. Look at it on a municipal scale, towns and cities should work to make themselves less dependent on cars then scaling up is much easier.
