I think he would be an excellent gym leader, not just for skill but for fashion omggg he’d serve. As for typing idk if he’d be water but mylotics aura gave beauty and danger so 🤲 befitting

Alsoooooo ik Lu guang wouldn’t be a super flaunty fish, but I think he would be a gorgeous fish but not particularly enjoy or care for his appearance. Cheng xiaoshi, on the other hand, loooves lg’s iridescent scales. Might draw cxs as mermaid too. They are fun to draw!

Lg gets threatened by fishermen who are afraid of what they don’t know (or bc he’s been eating their catches…) and as revenge, plan to kill him. But in typical cxs fashion, he protects lg with his own life. Lg is never seen again on the surface.

At first I pictured cxs as the mermaid who’d playfully try to interact with lg but then I thought about it more and to be canon compliant, it would be so much better if lg was the mermaid and cxs discovered him. Lg would be spying on him for so long… then is discovered… they are best friends… then.
