- 8. Strength —
Normally a lion I put in a shark. No chains, no weapons, no armor. Just hands and hot air whatever is passing between them. This card is about the kind of strength that doesn't need to prove anything.
Hand-illustrated over 3 years.

- 7. The Chariot —
Two steeds, one black, one white. They want different things. The driver knows force won't work here. The land is behind. He's already left. 🎴 See the full card: #2023nts/#2023/majarc-7-chariot" class="hover:underline text-blue-600 dark:text-sky-400 no-card-link" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-link="bsky">https://markmeadows.com/paints/#2023/majarc-7-chariot

- 6. The Lovers —
Two figures. One angel. A choice that looks like love but isn't only that. It's about the choices that split your life into before and after. 🎴 See the full card: #2023nts/#2023/majarc-6-lovers" class="hover:underline text-blue-600 dark:text-sky-400 no-card-link" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-link="bsky">https://markmeadows.com/paints/#2023/majarc-6-lovers

- 5. The Hierophant —
Two fingers up, two down (I had a hard time with this one). Pillars behind enshrine something, but he's not welcoming you in for tea. 🎴 See the full card: #2023nts/#2023/majarc-5-hierophant" class="hover:underline text-blue-600 dark:text-sky-400 no-card-link" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-link="bsky">https://markmeadows.com/paints/#2023/majarc-5-hierophant

- 4. The Emperor —
Stone throne. Stone face. The rams on his armrests aren't decoration. They're a warning. The Emperor built the walls that keep things out. 🎴 See the full card: #2023nts/#2023/majarc-4-emperor" class="hover:underline text-blue-600 dark:text-sky-400 no-card-link" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-link="bsky">https://markmeadows.com/paints/#2023/majarc-4-emperor

She sits between two pillars. One black, one white. She's not choosing. She's the threshold itself. 🎴 See the full card: #2023nts/#2023/majarc-2-priestess" class="hover:underline text-blue-600 dark:text-sky-400 no-card-link" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-link="bsky">https://markmeadows.com/paints/#2023/majarc-2-priestess

Maybe the easiest way to be happy is to be kind. After that, i suppose, healthy. Then unserious.

Back from visiting fambly in deep Tennessee, spent the weekend shooting guns, chewing tobacco and driving trucks. Weirdly, it was exactly like similar family visits to deep Brittany, France. Pride in traditions.

Terroirists, both. Lovely terroirists.

Yesterday I was sworn in as a NASA Civil Servant. It’s an honor and an oath I take sincerely - I quite literally promised I will serve to my best abilities in the interest of our American constitution. My father did it, now my turn.

Its uh like Star Trek or the prequel to a zombie movie. I 💙 it!

Its summer solstice!

Welcome to the hottest summer in over 100,000 years.

The last time global temperatures were likely similar to or higher than present levels was during the previous interglacial period, known as the Eemian, which occurred about 125,000 years ago.

“A Pie Chart of Apple Pie.”
Being a lazy artist, I built a GPT (OpenAI’ GPT-4) of “Art the Info-Graphic Designer” — mixed results since infographics a pretty high octane work. But we have a start. I don’t think Butt should be included in apple pie, and we clearly have cognitive mixing of languages.

Never sure if the internal dialogues help balance any little thing. But I continue trying and will post drawings, writing, first-person frustums here. Hello world.
