Wow. What an exciting time to be a Cure fan in Eastern Europe. There's shows in Poland, Romania and now Bulgaria! Is Istanbul or Greece next? Will they play the Balkan countries as well? Guess we'll have to wait and see!

Good points. RS doesn’t mind ruffling feathers which can work in favor of fans (stubbornly refusing to allow Ticketmaster to push him around; standing his ground on deceptive practices) but some instances of interpersonal insensitivity can rub people the wrong way.

I recall you had predicted this eventuality almost a year ago - very perceptive. I believe you noted that X was more exciting and had more content. You then surmised that Bluesky users might return to X after some time had passed.

Point taken. It's a long story so I'll spare you the details. On a slightly different note, I'm surprised he supposedly left X in favor of bluer skies here but it's a bit disappointing that he's not been as active as I expected. He throws us a bone or a few crumbs every so often.

A lot of Twitter/X defectors have gradually started to become active on X again. Perhaps there just isn't enough content on Bluesky to keep them engaged. Roger O'Donnell is one. There is a Cure fan account who did the same. Reeves never really left X even though he doesn't support the owner.

You're the only fan who expressed smugness...not surprised at all.

It seems he is okay with Zuckerberg but has issues with Musk. All platforms are eventually problematic if one looks deeply enough. I appreciate your sentiment either way.
October 8, 2025 at 1:00 PM
Even if
@RobertSmith
eventually posts this on X, the fact that it’s already on *all* platforms (EXCEPT X) as of over an hour ago
leaves a bad taste in the mouth and has me seriously reconsidering attending any show in 2026 (and beyond).
It feels intentionally exclusionary.
October 7, 2025 at 7:48 AM
Why has
@RobertSmith
announced Werchter on all socials except X? So RUDE & exclusionary. I may return my existing tix to the exchange (once it opens) depending on how RS continues to treat fans. This mistreatment is unacceptable and I’ve lost any desire to attend any show.🤬😡
October 7, 2025 at 7:29 AM
You skipped over X. That leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I might return my existing tickets when the exchange opens depending on how RS treats (or mistreats) his fans on X as the show dates get closer.
October 7, 2025 at 7:16 AM
Why is this news only posted here on Bluesky and not on your other SM accounts?

The 30 sec clip (watching w/o audio) has disturbing vibes & could serve as a promo for a psycho-thriller or horror movie, which seems appropriate since it's Fri the 13th. Andy Vella's design work on MOALW is phenomenal! Looking forward to listening to these remixes.

Memorable, dystopian images underscore themes of surveillance & misplaced identity. Several of these remix videos have an apocalyptic, unsettling feel to them.
This image from the YouTube video reminds me of the Jumping Someone Else’s Train single cover. 😅 👄👄👄2/n

This is surprisingly well-produced with an undeniably catchy opening. Maybe Avery’s production talents could be used on a future Cure release?🤔 I’m not sure how the vocals were manipulated here but it’s rather jarring once the vocals kick in! Otherwise a solid mix. 1/n

2/2 - The curating exercise for these remixes is a great warm-up/precursor for the RAH charity gigs in spring 2026. I suspect a few remix artists will appear at RAH. Cure-ious how the remix artists were chosen (the ones who didn't send you an unsolicited remix). Some are pretty obsCURE.
May 30, 2025 at 2:37 AM
Pre-ordered. It seems the 3 CD Deluxe has sold out on the Procurements site but is available on the MOALW site. I was on the fence on this one - not a huge fan of remixes (and a huge procrastinator) which is why I dragged my feet. I was surprised by the $10 ship fee for such a small item. 1/2

Not sure who came up w/ the stamps idea but it harkens back to a quaint era of “analog” communication in which postcards & handwritten letters were the norm. I was once an avid stamp collector & would love to add these stamps to my collection even if they aren’t “real”. 3/3

The list of record shops has the potential be divisive. Fans whose home towns aren’t included will inevitably feel left out. This is b/c the remix artists chose most of the record shops, so it was never intended to be geographically equitable. 2/3

I’d love to affix a city-specific MOALW stamp to one of the virtual Friday I’m in Love postcards you sent us in late December.
@royalmailofficial.bsky.social
should consider releasing commemorative Cure stamps for your 50th anniversary in the next few years. 1/3

I regret having attended the Troxy show. That should have been a hard pass.
May 22, 2025 at 2:16 AM
And once again the users on X have been completely ignored.
OUCH! So COLD, DISRESPECTFUL & downright RUDE to the X fanbase - it's almost like we don't exist!🤬 It's not the 1st time. I have no intention of supporting MOALW or any other upcoming releases based on the pettiness of

This does not bode well for either Labour or more centric/independent parties. Any blunders by Labour will inevitably be used as ammunition by the ascendant Reform UK. Farage will rub his hands gleefully whenever there is any evidence of incompetence by the opposing party.

Then again, another interpretation is that releasing remixes can help reignite & generate continued interest in the original album, but the original wasn’t released that long ago.
May 16, 2025 at 10:58 AM
The intro sounds promising. No matter how hard I try, it’s hard to maintain genuine interest in this remix album. It feels like the original album is being milked for all its worth, even if it benefits a good cause. Overexposure w/ these reinterpretations could actually tarnish the original album.

Bagatelle Records in Long Beach, CA. The name *alone* should automatically give this well-respected establishment “street cred”, but even without the odd coincidence of its name, this indie shop has served Long Beach since 1977.
Their IG handle is @bagatellerecords
