Before Angry Birds 2 started development, Rovio Stockholm was already toying with certain concepts/ideas that would eventually find their way into AB2. One of those being the "fake-2D" character rigs which Joakim Svärling showed off back in 2018, featuring a Markus-styled Minion Pig.

On Ari Pulkkinen's 2011 AriTunes gamescom portfolio, there is an Angry Birds-themed track around the ending portion that was never used in any piece of known media. It is currently not known what this song was gonna be used for.
