Wicked was a bland and forgetful wash. Ariana Grande ruins Popular and it doesn't do anything to build depth. It just makes you sit there for 160 minutes of half a movie. Cynthia Erivo slayed tho 📽️

been a rough couple of days with work and catching up on black logs, but thank god that after a long ass day, I come home to this bad boy. this recent run of Birds of Prey has been killer. Artwork is peak and the dialogue is tough but cheeky. Bless up. 💙📚

After 30 minutes of video games I itched for some art, this time from image: Story okay so far — mute assassin getting answers and revenge after the murder of her gramps — sprout (mute) is AWESOME, this Serena Briggs (podcaster), not so much. Sprout speaks via photos and I just love her of Elton 📚

After 30 minutes of video games I itched for some art, this time from image: Story okay so far — mute assassin getting answers and revenge after the murder of her gramps — sprout (mute) is AWESOME, this Serena Briggs (podcaster), not so much. Sprout speaks via photos and I just love her of Elton 📚
Started this for a book club as well and after the first 100 pages… its well um, like the first 150 pages of Blonde just very vanilla in writing and approach. Told via interview, its narrative is loose and flawed, almost giving us the highs and neglecting the important things like domestic abuse 📚

Labor Day Weekend in a nut shell, reread more Claremont and finished NYX, which was okay. Started the Yara Flor Wonder Girl, rewatched some X-Men 🎥 some 80s Almodovar and finally watched Heat. Twas busy and great

Did a last minute read through of a Power Rangers run where they face Godzilla and though I wasn’t crazy about the human looks, everything else was fire and the right amount of quality corniness. Highly recommend these 5 issues from BOOM & IDW. Boasts that hype for JLA vs Zilla vs Kong 😮💨🥵
