Lucifer passed away 2 nights ago. He had stopped eating and we tried to figure out what was wrong. After 2k in tests and x rays, we discovered a roommate fed him spaghetti and he was seemingly holding out for fiber dining options. He got fancy wet food after that and seemed to improve…

Today is my kids 24th birthday holy hell. We both almost died but we made it.

He invited me to see Bladee with him and his friends next week. I fucking love my kids. They’re the best.

I'm making a quilt for my boyfriend. I think picking out the fabric is my favorite part.

But I bought a new sewing machine that should arrive today so I'm pretty excited about that too.
A pile of fabrics in various shades of blue, orange, gold, and purple. More details in next pictures. 4 colorways of the same print. It's a sort of abstract, a bit retro, two tone mushroom pattern. Orange and white, light blue with brown, purple with navy blue, lime green with navy blue. Blue, orange, gold, and cream versions of the same print that has little owls, foxes, trees, snails, etc. So fucking cute. Strips of various colorways of blobby polka dots on a solid background.

I've been working on a new print. It's the first time I've really let the image develop as I was creating it & then revise/recreate. It's grim, a bit unhinged. It will be hard to share bc I don't want people to think it's literal or about me. But I really like it & I may just let myself get dark.

For anybody else mourning the loss of Tubtim Thai on Hillhurst… new Thai is moving in. I overheard the original owner say the new owners were going to use her recipes so I’m hopeful. I loved her Pad Thai. She was the sweetest little old lady though. I’ll miss her.
