A worthy follow-up to Super Mario Odyssey, if a little too open ended for me personally at times (I'd often accidentally dig my way to the end of a platform challenge). Nintendo EPD still knows how to make a damn good game.
Oh, and that final act? Absolutely brilliant!

#6: Xenoblade X DE's Epilogue
I guess more of a 4.5 since it's part of XDE but I finally beat chapter 13! I haven't been waiting as long as others but it was nice to get a non-cliffhanger conclusion and for me, it was a fun ride with a neat new area and great new music!

#4: Xenoblade X: Definitive Edition
Been a long time coming, from when I first got the Wii U version in 2022 and man, what a game. Great exploration, great music and such a technical accomplishment both here and on Wii U. Definitely the best way to play this game, play it now :P

Like the DS game, this one's also a platformer, this time taking from Phoenix Studio's Rayman 4 and playing like GBA Rayman 3. Overall middle-of-the-road with very situational costume powers. Did the opposite of overstaying its welcome though, as it was very short!

It's kinda hard to classify what kind of game this is, part Wii wagglefest, part RPG, part on-rails shooter but very unique as a result! Had a pretty good time apart from the awkward difficulty spike for the final boss.

A very pleasant little puzzle game that feels so Wii U coded that I can't help but really enjoy it. Only really one dud level, had a really good time playing this one! I refuse to accept the Switch port's retconned ending though...
