When I was growing-up, moving was traumatic. Moves where paid by the Navy, up to a certain weight. My mother had to trim her books (she never made us do so) to fit the family budget.

I fear my next non-local move, and their next move given the decades on uncheck growrg.

The new AI Executive Order begins as horrifically as you might expect. However, Section 3 is not as irrational as I was expecting. Aside from using DEI as an example, it reads fairly neutral (even if the intent is not neutral).

LLMs shall be truthful in responding to user prompts seeking factual information or analysis. LLMs shall prioritize historical accuracy, scientific inquiry, and objectivity, and shall acknowledge uncertainty where reliable information is incomplete or contradictory. (b) Ideological Neutrality. LLMs shall be neutral, nonpartisan tools that do not manipulate responses in favor of ideological dogmas such as DEI. Developers shall not intentionally encode partisan or ideological judgments into an LLM’s outputs unless those judgments are prompted by or otherwise readily accessible to the end user.

Needed this bit of yum today
A partially consumed piece of sumptuous strawberry-rhubarb pie looking yummy. The filling is glistening red with chunks of fruit (rhubarb is pie-fruit) and theie is a lattice crust on top. There is a fork sitting next to the piece on the plate.

We did a cookie grazing table recently for my niece's engagement party. While not every cookie was homemade, I baked over 120 chocolate chip cookies and snickerdoodles each. Soooo many cookies.
A large table covered in cookies of all varieties, including some mini doughnuts. The centerpiece consists of "J & J" in lighted letters. The wall looks odd but that's because this was in an Irish pub in the States.
