I still have to play more of the game, but most the disturbing aspects of the game are there for shock, they dont posses anything solid behind them, its just to shock the player and get a reaction, games can have disturbing taboo topics (Blank Dream is one of them) but they need a meaning, purpose.

I think its mostly because of the creators response in chapter 2, and from what i see, the games community seems to almost glorify incest (and fetishizing it too, most of the community thinks the incest route is the Good ending)

TLDR: Its a game about an abusive relationship between a younger sister who manipulates her brother and the brother is heavily depressed and angst because of it... Theres also a demon helping them do really heinous shit through out the game.

From what i heard, the game tries really hard to make the protagonist's actions redeemable in some way using the "lets make every person in this world a piece of shit so our main characters dont look shity" logic.

They clearly take action, make choices, but you never know where will this all end in and what will they gain from it? And its never explained if they have bad or good intetions, they have something, but you wont know what that is, never.
