The ascension trophy is currently listed at 11% completion on Steam. That's for reaching the end of the vanilla campaign. Less than an eighth of people who've purchased and played Rain World have finished the first and easiest of nine total campaigns that are currently available.

The learning curve is steep and the skill ceiling is damn high. And a lot of the really engaging story stuff is easy to miss on a blind play through. So you get a lot players coming away thinking "overly difficult game about a small mascot creature" and not much else. But there's so much else dudes.
