I almost forgot @pierrevj.bsky.social 😑 who did a very excellent historical context for the rule book.

Oh my god I didn’t know you were there! I joined briefly but left soon after because it was like walking into a party without knowing anyone. Would have absolutely stayed and given it a shot otherwise 🫠

If you are interested, you can order my book now at www.pen-and-sword.co.uk/Castillon-Ha...

It should be available from other online shops soon and in the US in September.

I’m a huge huge fan of Hadrians Wall - do you reckon this is a big step up in terms of complexity? The only other game on the Anarchy I own is the Cry Havoc one (which is fantastic but very different haha) so I’m keen to see other takes on the period (I know I know that isnt the point but you know)

Congrats! Well deserved.

That’s a good point. I do maintain that smaller entries are generally the better ones for the system, and that a small one is a better intro to it at least.

I would recommend Kernstown - both battles in the box are different but use the same map, and are the perfect size for the system imo. The bigger games like Longstreet Attacks, while great, do tend to stretch the size of the system a bit.
