One thing I enjoy about reading more books on writing are the lessons that allow me to revisit my past (self-)published work, in this case Monster Boy & The Nightmare King, and learn from them.

The light pink highlighted cells were just a way to divide the slides visually for me so I wouldn’t get lost keeping track of scenes. I reworked a lot of things as time went on but I’m pretty proud that I didn’t need to make nearly as many changes as I thought.

- A column for the background assets that I would reuse within scenes. - And one for images/illustrations and how they’d be displayed/animated. Color-coding. Boy-oh-boy do I love color coding. I used “[RED]” in brackets to determine the “camera focus”, which essentially was-
