Up to step 5 of 10 in Deborah Chester’s recommended editing approach and the structure and suggestions are making editing far less of a chore. As a bonus it’s tightening up the writing a whole bunch too.

There are many stages to finishing a book. First full draft, delivered draft, responding to edit notes, addressing copy editor queries, then—as just now—finishing the proofreading so that it is done, really done, and ready to be made into a book for, um, readers?
