I agree not the same player at all, but Kupp for sure still has juice in the tank, a significant upgrade over anyone currently rostered IMO and an awesome vet for our younger core of wideouts to learn what it takes to make it long term in the NFL

I think we have spent some of that money on the recent acquisitions (just hasn’t hit the books yet). Overall you are correct tho, we have the ability but choose to take the cheaper route per usual.

Yea, we have a ton of Cap space, this should be a no brainer if he’s even remotely interested in us.

And a true QB1 mentality, say what you will about Sanders but he is not phased by what others think of him. I know Mac is what people go to when they see a less physically gifted passer, but what great physical tools does Joe Burrow bring to the table? I’m just saying there’s a lot to like IMO

I truly believe Sanders in the correct system/situation can be special. Yes physical tools are slightly lacking, but there is a lot more that goes into QB, he shows willingness to stand in the pocket and deliver big strikes, has good mechanics, excellent accuracy to the short and mid game,

I agree with you, give me Sanders/Ward over Penix and Nix, arguably McCarthy but I'm not ready to go that far, McCarthy is very elite on 3rd downs and highly athletic still very young, but I think he could be special.

Just seems like the ultimate Josh McDaniels WR. Wish we would just throw cash at him, would also do wonders for Polk and Bakers development
