There is no single b school model, for sure. As a tenured social scientist in a b school, I’m not surprised there are no b school letters in arts/sci colleges promotion portfolios, it’s exactly what I expect for the reason I stated.

Tenure letters come from b schools, journal hierarchies are different, etc. B school social/behavioral scientists are often not well integrated with their training discipline in liberal arts/arts & sciences inside the university. Each plays a role in facilitating these poor outcomes.

The lack of interplay between b-school disciplines and their social & behavioral science equivalents is worth contemplation.
