Well, time to switch, then!

... That said the "tinted" look helps (a bit)

Well, you were working there, soooo… it’s actually 2.4 shares, and even if they have been down ~30% I kept them as a sort of memento! Now I can cut my whopping 70€ losses 😳

Oh, I missed the news!!! Now I can finally sell my 1-share of Elastic without feeling guilty, then 🤣

PS: no, not installing the beta

PPS: yes, I am _that_ old

PPPS: the child, dog, and cat would kindly want to petition the folks at Apple to be featured, once again, on papa’s background screen, thanks!

I use characters from Sherlock Holmes: my laptop is “Mycroft” and it has been that way for as long as I can remember.

I have the Unix hostname always set to “mycroft.local” for easy access, and then I use the “Mark” notation for the display name.

Currently at “Mycroft Mk. VII”.

GhosTTY is also pretty cool, and Mitchell Hashimoto definitely knows how to write some good tools… My only resistance to it is that I haven’t yet mastered its daunting configuration file, and I’m OCD about my defaults (fonts, colors, certain key bindings, …)

I am on the stock Terminal app which, these days, is not too horrible. MacOS 26 made it look a bit uglier (darn huge rounded corners) but it’s “ok”. Just don’t leave the line buffer to infinite (the default) or it’ll happily choke to death in a couple of days!
