Tales of Zestiria gives enemy journal entries flavor text written by the characters (often with banter between them) and it's such a good addition to the game. Wish more games did that kinda thing

There, got my 1m score with LB0 yuri! Needed an extra buffless ex skill after breaking it to build more devastation so she'd actually kill it with the second buffed ex, and had to let it break several people with malignant ooze and revive them (even with safeguarding orb the LB0s break from full DP)

Astrarium done! Figuring out how to clear the 4x damage cap buff quickly was an interesting new twist but once that was down Yuri just annihilated it

Between this and the 3-turn strat with Inori SS2 I've pretty dramatically improved my clocktower scores (except for shadow megumi, whose fight refuses to load on PC, but I could cut another 6 turns there once they fix that...)

I wasn't sure I'd be able to do this in 8 turns because I don't have a lot of options for elemental aoe damage but uh, turns out OD looping is really strong! two OD3s in the same turn puts in a lot of work

tried the same thing with the less-durable second ruleset and still didn't quite get there... just not enough damage

Managed to get the skill guide but not sure I can get the platinum trophy. Don't have a lot of options for aoe dps, much less light/dark ones. Even with full buffs/OD/max devastation/2x def down karen still couldn't oneshot the HP here at 105/35 and had to spend a bunch more turns finishing them off

beat the 120/35 this time too, and with a higher score than last time! brought byakko over niina because both get their ex skills resisted anyway and byakko's LB2 so much more durable. only had to rez yunyun once but she and kura survived several attacks with double-digit DP left lol #HeavenBurnsRed

Got one ruka ex skill level from autobattling through story dungeons for a few hours then just skill booked the last 3 levels, but it was enough! I did it!

I did manage to beat 120/35! But lost the no shields bonus right at the end because I didn't have enough damage. Ruka ex only dropped it to 10%, then I was out of seika/yunyun ex skills so another ruka ex still didn't finish it off, and barely limped across the finish line.
