Soviet history bonanza thanks to The Eight Life (french edition shown) which portrays a family's life in Georgia, and the movie Cold War (on Amazon Prime) depicting Poland post second world war.

In my Canadian province British Columbia, political pressure led to the end of providing a safe supply of opioids to substance users by health authorities.
In a span of 36 hours, three teenage opioid overdoses resulting in deaths happened in our family's circle of relationships.
Very sad.

Don Davies gained my respect/admiration on CBC Power and Politics today. Clear and passionate on the NDP's lenses in evaluating the forthcoming Federal Budget!

My personal song of the decade is the lament of a Quebecois trucker crossing the USA from Florida to home is Quebec.

"L'Amérique pleure" by Les Cowboys Fringants, translates to "America is Crying" in English.

'50 ans après Saigon' dans La Presse d'aujourd'hui me donne une foule de nouveaux héros, dont Jacques Couture, prêtre ouvrier et ministre Québécois de l'immigration. Ces gens de coeur me font pleurer une belle époque québécoise et canadienne.
