Fresh from our garden, with the addition of CSA produce, this morning I made 12+ cups of roasted vegetable sauce.😋Grocery prices are higher than I have ever seen, and this is one delicious and nutritious way we can resist and persist.

I’m working to create a “banner” that won’t run/smear if it gets wet and that can also be folded and easily transported. I will use procion dyes to fill in the letters with permanent colors. 😉🌈💙💪🏻

Shark, it’s what’s for breakfast…! A juvenile bald eagle un.alive.d this 18-22” shark this morning. The shark was too big, too alive and it was TOO windy for the eagle to take flight with its breakfast!

There was a time in my life when I couldn’t afford the “extras”, so I learned how to garden and can. Both, are good skills to have. With grocery prices what they are, seeds and soil are pretty affordable. And, there’s something hopeful about gardening. 🌱🌼 🌱
